GCPI Calculator

SiCortex has created a simple, yet powerful tool, the GCPI Calculator¹, that allows you to weight the importance of various benchmarks included in the HPCC Benchmark Suite, based on the type of applications run in your computing environment.

The GCPI Calculator is pre-populated with the default weights used in the GCPI Index. Adjust the weightings for individual HPCC benchmarks by changing the input values. Note that the total can’t exceed 100.

Submit your weightings to produce a customized ranking of leading HPC systems. The results list, in descending order, the GCPI for HPC systems based on your criteria.

¹ GCPI (Revision 2) = n(HPCC 1 -18)/kWatt, where n = results normalized to Cray XT3 reference system. HPCC is an industry-standard benchmark suite comprising 7 tests and a total of 28 benchmarks. The GCPI excludes the b_efficiency/bandwidth test and its 10 benchmarks, per industry feedback.
