FabriCache extends the reach of the Lustre parallel file system to include the memory modules connected to each SiCortex node. Here the genome data is loaded into reserved portions of every DIMM. It is still accessed via Lustre. It is still in single files with single address spaces. But it is available at main-memory speeds.
