WHAT: Chris Stone, President and Chief Executive Officer of SiCortex, Inc., maker of the world’s most energy-efficient high-productivity computing (HPC) systems, will participate in the 2009 Nantucket Conference opening panel discussion titled “Capitalizing on the Downturn, and Managing Toward the Recovery.” The CEO roundtable will focus on best practices for companies looking to succeed during difficult economic times, with discussion moderated by Bouzha Cookman, partner of the Catlin & Cookman Group.
WHY: For the past decade, the Nantucket Conference has brought together a small group of creative and forward-thinking entrepreneurs, investors, technologists and executives. The first nine editions of the Nantucket Conference have forged stronger connections between the talented people building technology companies, the people funding those companies and the people making technology decisions at larger, more established organizations.
During the roundtable participants will offer advice and share their own experiences of steering companies through challenging economic climates. The panel will include four other highly-successful New England CEOs, including: Aron Ain, Kronos; Jana Eggers, Spreadshirt; Christina Lampe-Onnerud, Boston-Power and Christopher Zannetos, Courion.
